CANDOER News - Past Issues

Communicators AND Others Enjoying Retirement
Listed below you will find all 70 issues of the CANDOER News that I edited and published from December 1995 through October of 2001. The web version is not an exact copy of the printed version. The printed version contained many graphics that I no longer have in my data base. In addition, I deleted things like a list of e-mail addresses (chances are they have changed anyway), and few other miscellaneous things, but the stories that were written by members are still intact exactly as they were in the original issues. You will find numerous stories of member's lives before, during, and after their careers.
For you who became members after October 2001, I hope you enjoying reading these real life stories written by your collegues.
For you who were members at the time and either wrote or read the 70 issues, I hope you enjoy reliving those events.
In addition, I would like to thank Marvin Konopik, Mark Pero, and Gene Caruso for furnishing several issues of the CANDOER News that I was unable to recover from my CD of old issues.
About four years ago, when my children got together and bought me a new computer, I decide to write all the issues out to a CD and get them off my old computer, instead of copying them to my new computer. At that time, I destroyed all the hard copies I had. Well, "the best laid plans of mice and men" kicked in. When I decided to put the 70 issues on the web for you to read, I discovered that several of the issues of the CD were unrecoverable due to a "corrupted file." Thanks to Marvin Konopik, Mark Pero, and Gene Caruso for furnishing the issues of the CANDOER News that I could not recover from the CD.
In addition, you will find the newest issues of the CANDOER News, starting with Issue 71, Spring 2007, Volume 7 - Number 1.
The newer issues will be in Web, Microsoft Word, and PDF Formats.
